I heard a line recently that’s been sitting with me:
Life meets you at the level of your audacity.
And the more I think about it, the more I see it play out in real life.
Not just in careers or relationships…but in housing decisions too.
So many people aren’t stuck because they made the wrong choice. They’re stuck because they’re waiting to feel completely certain.
They want a home that fits this season of life better…but stay put because it feels safer.
They think about more space, a different layout, a new neighborhood…but push the thought away because “now doesn’t feel ideal.”
They tell themselves they’ll revisit the idea next year. Or when rates change.
And somehow, years pass (and home prices go higher).
Here’s what I know from working with real people in real situations.
Most moves don’t start with confidence. They start with audacity.
The audacity to stand up and say, “You know what? I’m tired of waiting.”
“I refuse to make my kids wait to have a neighborhood where they can ride their bikes just because I scored a good mortgage rate 5 years ago.”
“I don’t want to wait another year to host my family for the holidays, because time is freaking precious.”
If you’ve found yourself quietly wondering lately…
-
Would moving actually be possible for us?
-
Are we underestimating what we could afford or walk away with?
-
Does our current home still support our life the way it used to?
That curiosity is worth listening to.
You don’t need to make a decision. You don’t need to commit to anything.
But you might owe it to yourself to at least explore the conversation.
If you want to book a short, low pressure mini-consult to talk through your options, I’m here.
Sometimes the boldest move isn’t buying or selling. It’s simply being audacious enough to raise your hand and get some answers.
Cheers!
